Recently we have a few major data center customers expressing interest in Pactech’s FlexLite™ CAT6 cables for their projects. They’ve requested samples for evaluation. This unique, thin CAT6 (28 AWG) was created for installation in tight space environments.
For those who are unfamiliar with the FlexLite™ CAT6, we want to take a moment to walk you through its key features and benefits:
56% Smaller in Cable Outer Diameter (3.5 mm vs. 6.2 mm for regular CAT6)
With the cable flexibility and soft plastic boot, it drastically reduces the bend radius to 15mm (vs. 40mm for regular CAT6). This makes cable routing much easier in tight space and leaves more room for airflow in the data center rack. When bundling tens of these cables, the bundle size is substantially smaller than the one with regular CAT6 cables.
